Silek Tuo is the oldest martial arts from Pariangan area, Padangpanjang. Silek Tuo in Minangkabau is inspired by animal movements such as tigers, crocodiles and cats. When fighting, people do not rely on own strong physical strength, but on opponent’s power in the fight. This is what makes Silek Tuo special.
