There are some kinds of early pigs lived in Sangiran, among others are Sus macrognathus, Sus brachynathus, Sus terhaari, and Sus stremmi. The fossils were found in Kabuh Formation, with assumed dating of 780.000 years. The fossils findings are usually teeth fragments, mandibular and maxilla, and leg bones fragments.
