Abstrak
Situs Semedo telah terbukti sebagai salah satu situs Plestosen di Jawa dengan temuan fosil binatang vertebrata dan binatang avertebrata serta artefak litik sangat signifikan, sehingga menempatkan posisi situs tersebut sebagai bagian dari situs Plestosen di Jawa. Potensi dan nilai penting Situs Semedo harus segera ditindaklanjuti dengan upaya pelestarian situs yang lebih efektif demi kelestarian situs tersebut ke depannya. Salah satu upaya pelestarian situs adalah pemintakatan/zonasi situs. Sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam upaya pemintakatan/zonasi Situs Semedo adalah sebaran lateral temuan fosil binatang dan artefak, serta lokasi-lokasi padat temuan di situs tersebut. Sebaran temuan fosil binatang dan artefak di Situs Semedo paling tidak mencakup luasan sekitar 11,575 Km2, sedangkan lokasi padat temuan berada di petak 20, petak 25, petak 26, petak 27, petak, 29, petak 32, petak 33. Lokasi ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan sebagai zona inti dalam upaya pemintakatan Situs Semedo.

Abstract
Semedo Site has proven to be one of the Pleistocene site in Java with the findings of animal fossils of vertebrates, invertebrate animals, and also lithic artifacts are significant it’s suitable, position the site as a part of the Pleistocene sites in Java. The potential and importance value of the Semedo Site should immediately be followed by efforts to conserve the site more effectively for the preservation of the site in the future. One of the efforts to conserve the site is the site zoning, as a material consideration in zoning efforts Semedo Site is the lateral distribution of animal fossils and artifacts, as well as the locations of solid findings on the site. Distribution animal fossils and artifacts in the Semedo site for an area of about 11,575 km2, while the findings are solid in plot 20, plot 25, plot 26, plot 27, plot 29, plot 32, plot 33.
