Ki Hajar Dewantara spirit in educating the life of the nation must be imitated and remembered services. To appreciate his services, it set on May 2 as a national education day, and every year commemorated. One commemorations held by Technical Implementation Unit of Education and Culture Ministry in Central Java. It held Educational Exhibition and cheap book bazaar with theme “Strenghen Education, Advancing Culture”. This exhibition was held on April 22-27 2019 in Pendhapi Gede in Surakarta City Hall.
In this chance, BPSMP Sangiran is participated actively to educate society and especially visitors of exhibition. Besides educating the society, BPSMP Sangiran is also inviting the visitors to join Kahoot quiz. After the visitors got information, they were tested through quiz in order to know their knowledge about Sangiran. The questions in Kahoot quiz is part of information got by the visitors in BPSMP Sangiran stand. This Kahoot quiz is part of entertainment and also test the visitors’ understanding.
“What is that?”
“What is the question?”
“Can I?”
“This is interesting”
“Is that the prize?”
“Is the question difficult?”
“What do i need to join?”
Those are some visitors comment in Kahoot quiz. They were so happy. Through gifts/prizes, the visitors are interested to join the quiz and don’t need to spend money. Through simply questions that explained in stand and also guides, the visitors were tested their understanding.
The participants are from various ages, background of education, background of occupation, and also high curiosity to try on Kahoot quiz. All these differences do not hinder them to take role in euphoria of National Education Day Celebration in Surakarta.
All of them were happy and didn’t feel pressured with “test” by BPSMP Sangiran through Kahoot quiz. A test which is full of happiness is share by BPSMP Sangiran to the visitors. (Wiwit Hermanto)
