Helmut de Terra Biography was born in Germany on 1900. He has interest on Science since child, de Terra study Geology and Geography in Munich University, until to get Philosophy Doctor (PhD) degree on 1925, with specialization in Geological field when Pleistocene and Kenozoic.
Until on 1930, de Terra has become currator assisstant of Science History of Berlin, then moved to America and got status as an American citizen on 1937. A year later, he started an expedition called The Joint American Southeast Asiatic Expedition. This expedition also involved Piere Teilhard de Chardin and Hallam Movius. After the Asian expedition, de Terra join another expeditions, under the same flag. One of them took place in Italy on 1956, with Dr. Johannes Huerzeler from Besel University of Belgium.
