Sangiran stone tools culture could be generally classified into massive and non-massive stone tools.
Massive Tools
Massive tools are those made from core stone through a process of chipping. They are namely chopper, chopping tool, hand axe, cleaver, and stone ball.
Non-massive tools
Non-massive tools are made through flaking of core stone with advance process to get the shapes needed, for example: flake, blade, and scraper.
